What you need to know in an emergency situation
In an effort to ensure timely and accurate communication in the event of a campus emergency or closure, Urbana has initiated a mass notification system (One Call Now) that will allow urgent information to be sent via text or email directly to registered users. The service is available to all current Urbana University students, faculty and staff.
Registration information will not be shared with outside sources and will only be used to send emergency messages.
All students are automatically enrolled upon registration for classes. Faculty and staff are enrolled into the system through Human Resources. Students have an opportunity to opt out of the notification during the registration process if they desire.
